Red Meat Teacher Workshops

In the 23/24 academic year, LMC completed a successful series of red meat teacher workshops which were highly valued by teachers.

Planning is now underway to deliver a further series of these sought after interactive workshops, with delivery in the upcoming academic year, 24/25.

To book your spot on one of our workshops, follow any one of the links below.

This series of workshops will cover new content and introduce participants to fresh takes on beef and lamb recipes. Each workshop will cater for approximately twenty teachers, who are keen to develop their skills and confidence when working with Northern Ireland Farm Quality Assured beef and lamb.

Hosted in collaboration with the British Nutrition Foundation LMC’s workshops aim to enhance practical skills and confidence in preparing, handling and cooking beef and lamb and encourage it’s use in the classroom. This is achieved through hands on recipes which use a variety of cuts and demonstrate the versatility of beef and lamb. In addition to the practical element a range of theory-based content is discussed throughout a workshop, including key topics such as FQAS, food safety and nutrition. Information on dates and venues will be available in due course.
